ORGANIC
ENERGETIC COMPOUNDS, Edited by Paul L. Marinkas, collects the
progress in the last decade or two in selected topics within the field
of organic energetic compounds. New areas of the science have achieved
prominence, such as molecular orbital calculations, toxicology,
biodegradation, and counter-terrorism. The topics selected for
discussion embody the more exciting work taking place in laboratories
around the world:
"Synthesis",
by R.J. Spear and I.J. Dagley, Materials Research Laboratory, Australia
"Detonation",
by Charles L. Mader, Formerly of Los Alamos National Laboratory
"Detection",
by Maarten S. Niewenhuizen of the Netherlands' Prins Mauritz Laboratory
"Toxicology",
by Winifred G. Palmer, et al., U.S. Army Biomedical R&D Laboratory
"Biotechnology",
by David L. Kaplan, U.S. Army Natick RDE Center
